"Each of the seven chakras are governed by spiritual laws, principles of consciousness that we can use to cultivate greater harmony, happiness, and wellbeing in our lives and in the world." Deepak Chopra
The Root Chakra, or Mooladhara, is located at the base of the spine, and its energy helps you to feel grounded and connected to the Earth. A balanced Root Chakra allows you to feel secure and connected to the physical world.
The Sacral Chakra, or Swadisthana, is the second chakra, located in the lower abdomen and connected to the water element. It is the energetic center of creativity, pleasure, joy, sensuality, sexuality, and fertility. When it is balanced, it is easy to enjoy the pleasure of life and flow with what comes your way.
Manipura, or the solar plexus chakra, is located in the area of the navel and is associated with self-confidence, boundaries, courage, personal power, and vital energy. When in balance, you have the strength and courage to be your authentic selves, set healthy boundaries, and use the energy of Manipura to manifest your dreams.
The Heart Chakra, or Anahata in Sanskrit, is located in the center of the chest and associated with love, compassion, acceptance, forgiving, and understanding. When in balance, it is easy to practice self-care, feel love, compassion, and joy both for yourself and others, express your feelings, and be open to give and receive love.
The Throat Chakra, Vishuddha, is located in the throat area and associated with communication, self-expression, truth, the element of sound, and creative expression. Find their voice and speak their truth. When in balance, you are able to practice healthy communication, use your voice authentically and freely, can express yourselves fully, and share your truth with the world.
The Third Eye Chakra, also known as Ajña Chakra, is located between the eyebrows and represents intuition, imagination, and insight. When the Third Eye Chakra is balanced, you can experience clarity and insight into your true selves and inner wisdom.
The Sahasrara or Crown Chakra, is located at the top of the head and associated with higher consciousness, enlightenment, and divine wisdom. When Sahasrara is in balance, you can cultivate inner peace and understanding easily and reach higher levels of spiritual awareness.
In this Chakra yoga retreat, you will learn tools how to bring each of these chakras into balance.
