Established by M.C. Kunjuraman Vaidyan, and later on taken to new heights by Vaidya Kala Nidhi R. Krishnan Vaidyan, Krishnendu Ayurveda in Kerala dates back to 1908. This temple of wellness has been in existence for more than a decade. The architecture and décor of Krishnendu Ayurveda Kerala are modelled on the natural topography of Kerala with the visual elements kept as close to the things the culture of Kerala stands for.
Krishnendu Ayurveda is heavily invested in environment-friendly practices of recycling and upcycling. It carefully segregates the waste it generates - converting food waste into biogas, which in turn, is utilized for the production of Ayurvedic medicines. The wastewater is used for irrigating the garden after it undergoes a series of treatments. Their commitment towards sustainability can be witnessed in the nutritious meals they offer while trying to manage their carbon footprint.
Krishnendu Ayurveda aims to create a healthier, sustainable and equitable world for the generations to come as they believe that a healthy life is possible only on a healthy planet. All the treatments and healing modalities at Krishnendu Ayurveda are based on the time tested practice of Ayurveda, applied in its purest approach, without mixing with any contemporary technique. The green leaf certified centre offers a bundle of treatment packages designed specifically to manage a particular illness. The centre also offers a yoga and meditation package designed in line with their holistic traditional health approach.
