TAYSP offers 200 hours Advanced Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC). The students get detailed knowledge of all aspects of teaching beginner and experienced Ashtanga Yoga practitioners over a course of four weeks. This course includes daily Ashtanga Vinyasa practice, breathing exercises, pranayama, yoga nidra, art of adjustment, methodology and time management, different type of workshops (such as back bends, hip opening, upper body strength and core etc.), meditations (dharanas), introduction to Shatkarmas, ancient yoga text studies, Indian philosophy, yoga psychology (practical implementation of yoga techniques to deal with mental and emotional states), anatomy, yoga therapy, teaching ethic. During the training students get detailed knowledge and practical experience which is essential for deepening the personal practice and building the strong foundation for the teaching activity. To insure the quality of the training we normally accept not more than 3 people for the course.

Upon completion of this yoga teacher training, students are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®). Registration with Yoga Alliance provides a globally recognized credential.

During the training, students get detailed knowledge and practical experience which is essential for deepening their personal practice and building a strong foundation for the teaching activity.
After completing the training, you will receive the teaching certificate, confirming your qualification as a yoga teacher. Also, after completion of the course, every student gets a basic anatomy course attendance certificate. It does not certify you to do any medical activity, but it confirms the course attendance and shows that you have a basic knowledge of the human body structure, its functions, the locomotor system, etc. More detailed knowledge can be obtained in the yoga therapy classes.
Will be covering the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series
For the TTC course, TAYSP make an emphasis on the practical part. By the end of the course, the students must know all posture foundations/modifications and different ways of adjustment for the same postures for different body types/level of practice for the Primary Series.
Also, the students will be trained in teaching and get the real teaching experience for Mysore style class and Led class. When the course is finished our students must perform safe adjustments and knowledge of the sequence in a way of “one breath one movement”.
During the course, healthy vegetarian food is provided. To experience the good effects of the yogic lifestyle, please do not bring meat from outside to eat. In a case student has any allergy or intolerance to any kind of food, please inform TAYSP so the diet will be adjusted accordingly.
