On Sundays, you receive either a full or half day to explore the local culture. You may choose from a variety of local attractions. A few favorites are Todos Santos which is just a short 20-minute drive away, designated as a Pueblo Mexico (“magic town”), this town features art galleries, historic buildings, and the very best in local restaurants. Nearby you will also find the renowned surfer beach Los Cerritos and the world-famous sandy beaches of Cabo San Lucas.
Enjoy an arid desert climate, where it’s always warm in the sun and cool in the shade. The daytime temperature never drops below 70s during the day, and nights feature cooler temperatures for a restful sleep
Our staff has refined the process of integrating yoga training within this natural setting being mindful that your environment is integral to your learning process. Away from your hectic everyday life, you’ll discover an inner peace with the mountains at your back and the warmth of the soft sea breeze on your face. Our approach is all about teaching yoga from the heart. This setting and approach help cultivate a love of yoga, your students, and yourself.
7:00 AM to 9:00 AM - Practice and Instruction of yoga flow and walking and sitting meditation.
9:00 AM - Herbal tea and house-prepared tropical breakfast with local fruit, homemade hot cereal and agave nectar – a new experience every morning!
9:30 AM to 12:30 PM -Yoga Class: Teacher Training Practice and Instruction.
12:30 PM: Lunch - Delicious vegetarian meals are served buffet style. (fresh local fish and dairy may be served on occasion)
2:00 PM 6:00 PM - Student teaching time, Individual and group instruction.
6:00 PM: Dinner - Delicious vegetarian meals are served buffet style. (fresh local fish and dairy may be served on occasion)
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM - Satsang: meditation, music and kirtan, yoga philosophy and discussion.

Yandara cultivates fresh kitchen herbs and vegetables in their own organic garden, where students are always welcome. There are papayas, bananas, oranges, and mangos in their orchard. Special to this Baja training are baked potato days with fresh finely chopped garden herbs (fresh dill, chives, rosemary, basil, and thyme), fresh local Dorado with garden basil pesto, garden beet and chard salad with balsamic dressing, and samosas with garden-fresh parsley/cilantro chutney.
