Requirements of participants:
- Basic understanding of the English language
- A strong commitment and high energy to learn are necessary. If you are a total beginner, pregnant, or have injuries or health issues be aware that this program will be extra challenging. Be sure before you apply that extra commitment and openness are necessary for total beginners
- Some asanas inside the regular yoga practices are challenging and the program will be kept as scheduled, but giving some easier variations, adaptations, and modifications for you to follow in the sense of inclusion. Keep in mind that inclusive education refers not only to beginners but also to advanced students, who have the right to learn according to their needs too
- Also, be aware that you will practice daily seated or lying meditation
- Please bring white clothes, an object of personal value, and a yoga mala for the ceremonies and chanting classes. White clothing is the dress code for initiation and graduation yoga ceremonies
- Alcohol and fast food are not allowed to be brought on the premises
- As the program meets the requirements for Yoga Alliance RYT200 criteria, skipping from the program will not lead to Yoga Alliance certification
- Students should read and self-practice after the training hours daily to complete the non-contact hours. They will complete short and simple exercises, prepare a class or a meditation or a dharma talk, etc.
- Students should not sleep later than 11 p.m.

Will they be certified after this training?
Absolutely yes. Upon successful completion all graduates are eligible to register as RYT200 with Yoga Alliance USA.
Are there health or age restrictions?
Ideally, you need to be healthy, physically strong, and free from severe pathologies or injuries. Age is absolutely irrelevant, as long as you feel healthy and thriving, you can be part of the team. They have set a limit of 65, but they know there are strong people beyond that limit. In any case, just ask if you are suitable, and based on your experience and fitness level, they can guide you.
Is there room cleaning?
Yes. Sheets change every 7th day, and towels change every 3rd day.
Are there exams?
Keeping the quality standards of a training, they should have exams. They call this day self-reflection, rather than exams. In case you don't pass: this is not going to happen, as they prepare you to succeed no matter what. To avoid exams stress, your training days prepare your for the exam pass, so you won't find yourself under any surprise.
Do you practice for 16 ongoing trainings?
You will have 1 day off for the whole training.
Will they have to cook dinner?
You are provided with 2 meals daily. For the dinner, you can cook something light using the house kitchen or store food in the fridge.
Can they change the form of training?
Yes. If you move from in-person to online, there's no refund. If you move from online to in-person, the payment is your preferred room type excluding the amount you paid for the Online YTT.
How many hours will they learn Restorative yoga?
Some days, they practice Restorative yoga. You are also given Restorative poses and sequences and one eBook to download.
Will they receive assistance and alignment to their poses in the training?
Yes, verbally and with gentle hands-on assistance.
Will you uplevel their practice?
The training has as an aim to train you on how to offer mixed-level yoga classes. For the most part, you learn to adapt and variate the poses for adapting to various needs. Also, you will be given chances to challenge yourself in your asana and other techniques practice with some days that reflect more intermediate to advanced levels (but also beginners with appropriate adaptations or alterations).
They have solar flows that will be more dynamic and more intense, as well as lunar flows that are more slow-paced, introspective, stretching, and less challenging. Teacher training is a chance to learn high skills, but you must also learn how to teach at all levels, how to teach the exercises correctly and inspirational with an anatomy and philosophy background.
Shall they bring a yoga mat?
Mats are provided (Manduka brand). Please bring your own if you feel like and for safety reasons.

Yes, you can find a very basic mini market in the village (doesn't sell fruits) and a bigger market with grocery store in the next villages (Elaionas village, 25 minutes walking distance or 2 kilometers or Rizomilos village, 25 minutes walking distance or 2 kilometers).

The certification coming from Yoga and More School is regarded as Non-Typical education in Greece, where the school is based legally. This school is registered with Yoga Alliance USA as RYS200. The certification coming from Yoga and More School can be eligible for registration with Yoga Alliance in RYT200.
Yoga Alliance USA is also a non-typical education provider. That means you can teach all over the world appearing in the directory of teachers. A specialized authority consultation is advised in your country about yoga-related professional rights. This training is not providing you information on this matter, as every country has its own criteria for practicing yoga as a profession.
Can total beginners participate?
Yes, however you should know that this will make the whole experience more challenging. After booking, you should start your practice and learning via their Online Training Library. Prior total absence of any kind of physical activity is not recommended due to the nature of the course. There is provision to offer future trainings for total beginners.
