The teacher training program is designed as a mandala of practices. In this way, you can approach and deepen each aspect of the path of yoga in a complete course, following a gradual and harmonious progression. You simply start at the beginning: first lay a good foundation, then grow.
Thus, one week after another, you will alternately emphasize the physical (hatha), energetic (kundalini) and contemplative (jnana) aspects of yoga. On the other hand, the program for each day is balanced and also focuses on these different aspects.
In general, teacher training is approximate from the perspective of integral yoga, which includes the three main aspects of traditional practice:
Hatha yoga (the way of the body described in different styles, including Bala yoga which is a specificity of Sana yoga)
Yoga kriya kundalini (the way of energy, approached under several traditional approaches)
Yoga jnana (the path of contemplation of essential nature, where the practice of mindfulness is approached from several traditional approaches)
All other aspects of yoga are contained in these three fundamental yogas, and are therefore naturally transmitted (with their theoretical and practical aspects) in the Sana yoga teacher training. They are taught from the perspective of Raja yoga (integral yoga, developing the three aspects of the body, energy and spirituality in a harmonious and balanced way).
On the other hand, they also train teachers in the Golden Embryo method, another specificity of Sana yoga. The Golden Embryo is an integral yogic practice and a complete path of realization in itself which is integrated into their teacher training so that you can practice it and transmit it in return.
Finally, the magnificent setting of the Côte d'Azur, renowned for its quiet beaches and emerald-colored waters, is ideal for training in aqua yoga and paddle yoga.
Here is an example of a typical program, which may be adapted according to the circumstances. In addition, Sana Yoga makes certain practices coincide with the times of sunrise and sunset (the sandhya), times which shift by about one minute per day; here again the program must remain adaptable.
Sana Yoga emphasizes the physical aspect (Hatha yoga and its variants, including Ashtanga/vinyasa and Sama yoga) and also addresses the energetic (kundalini yoga and triple internal energy: chakras and nadis of the subtle body) and sapiential aspects (Jnana yoga and contemplative approaches). They thus gradually evolve following the harmonious structure of the mandala, which gives the basis of the training program.
Excursions, trekking, and meditative walks, and paddle visits to sites, villages, and beaches are planned in the course of the teacher training.
