Join a yoga teacher training at Moksha without the need of doing exams or practicums. This training is prefect for you if you’re up for a transformative journey of yoga and self-discovery but don’t wanna become a yoga teacher. The program blends 40 hours of online learning with 14 days of residential immersion on the beautiful island of Koh Phangan. Immerse yourself in your yoga practice, jump into the ice bath and sauna to rejuvenate, eat delicious food, and find like-minded people within the yoga community on the island. There are also additional events and excursions such as ecstatic dance, waterfall and hikes just around the corner, and of course beautiful beaches. The online training should be ideally completed prior to the in-person training.
07:00 - 08:00 Meditation, pranayama, and asanas
You will start your day with a peaceful meditation session followed by pranayama (breathing exercises) and asanas (yoga postures) to awaken your body and mind.
09:30 - 10:30 Breakfast break
After your morning practice, you will enjoy a nourishing breakfast to fuel you for the rest of the day.
10:30 - 13:30 Theory
During this time, you will dive deeper into various aspects of yoga, including anatomy, philosophy, and asana clinics. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of the practice.
13:30 - 15:30 Lunch break
You will take a break for a delicious and healthy lunch, giving you time to relax, recharge, and connect with your fellow trainees.
15:30 - 18:30 Afternoon session
In the afternoons, you will explore various asanas through workshops and practices, including Yin and Restorative yoga. You will have the opportunity to refine your teaching skills and deepen your practice.
18:30 Dinner and free evenings
After dinner, you will have free time to explore the local area, relax, or connect with your fellow trainees.
Your level of experience may inform your decision of which course best suits you. Mokshapassionateyoga recommends that you have at least six months of regular yoga practice before starting either training.
Certification
Students who complete the training will receive a 160-hour certificate from Moksha Passionate Yoga Education.
How the training works
The in-person training will be done after the mandatory online. There will be no live sessions for the online part. You should complete the online program prior to the course start. It will be available four weeks before the in-person training. There are 40 hours of online content which is self-paced and pre-recorded via Teachable. You will have 14 days of in-person training in Koh Phangan.
Once the in-person and online content is completed, you will get the certificate. This training will cover a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, and Yin yoga. You will also learn how to modify poses and sequences to accommodate students' different levels and needs. Mokshapassionateyoga will also have occasional evening events, such as book circles, dance parties, cacao ceremonies, and more. These events are optional but highly recommended.
Course information

By joining the program, you will receive all the practice and knowledge without the stress of teaching practicums and exams. You will also reduce your residential time commitment should you choose the training so that you can save time and money. It is also more suited to beginners and intermediate practitioners. The course will offer the history, philosophy, ethics, paths, anatomy and physiology, and the business side of yoga, plus lots of practice.
They shall support you in understanding how to create a healthier lifestyle, reduce pain and stress, improve focus, deepen your relaxation, and prevent injuries. The intention is for you to have successfully completed the online program prior to your arrival in paradise (Koh Pha Ngan). Thus giving you more flexibility in your preliminary studies, whilst saving energy, time, money, and negotiations with your family and boss. They also hope to give you some time to experience the beauty of the magical island and Thailand.
