The path of Yoga that we propose in Vida Yoga is a process of transformation that begins with improving our posture. This conscious work of postural reeducation is carried out throughout all the practices, taking into account the characteristics of each student and helping them so that they can gradually modify incorrect patterns of alignment and movement.
To this end, subtle muscles are worked in a subtle way that provides the body with stability, strength and better support for the proper action of the large superficial muscles. The results are reflected in a practice more conscious of the asanas. These are adopted more easily and they are kept for a longer time which enhances their benefits.
In this way, the postures are worked from the inside out, not only to achieve the form, but also to provide the bases to be able to develop in a respectful and pleasant way the potential of each person. It is also worth mentioning that they also help to considerably reduce the discomfort of existing injuries.
All practices are based on a conscious work of breathing, Pranayama, which in turn leads to greater concentration, training the mind to observe subtle things, this mindfulness leads directly to a meditative state. Then there is room for transformation.
This philosophy of precise responsible work demands concentration and an experienced guide.

We invite you to explore how to approach Core work progressively and consciously. We will aim to create solid foundations that allow us to deepen our personal practice and our work with students.
Why is it important to maintain a functional Core? Because it is fundamental to prevent injuries and lower back pain, develop a safer asana practice, and, above all, it significantly improves our posture and the development of a healthier everyday life.
How are the central muscles, breathing, diaphragm, and iliopsoas related? How does this impact our stability, alignment, and strength?
Core Breathing: We will aim to understand the anatomy of the Core and learn breathing techniques to strengthen it.
Asanas and abdominal muscles: We will explore a selection of poses that actively and passively involve the core. When is it necessary to activate the center and when to soften it.
Basic Anatomy: Presentation of the core muscles and their importance in yoga practice.
All classes will end with a few minutes of meditation. It is important to remember that meditation is one of the pillars of yoga practice.
This is a unique opportunity to understand the functioning of our center and our movement patterns. This way, we can observe the compensations our body generates when the muscles do not activate integrally, and from there, build a more conscious personal practice with solid foundations.
That is the main path of yoga, discovering ourselves from the inside out.
No prior experience is required; everyone is welcome to participate!
Beyond the Asanas is a holistic and comprehensive approach to the practice of yoga. In this course, you will cover the physical aspect (anatomy and biomechanics), the mental aspect (breathing techniques and pranayama), and of course, the spiritual aspect (meditation, reflection, and contemplation).
The purpose of exploring these areas is to develop a transformative and enriching practice that provides you with tools to guide yourself or your students on a path of understanding and discernment within the yoga practice or other movement and rehabilitation techniques.
