300 hour Advanced Yoga Instructor Certification – Baja, Mexico
Are you ready for a deep journey of personal transformation and evolution? Yandara Yoga’s inspiring advanced program is 300-hour Yoga Alliance Certified. The training is divided into two parts, offered side-by-side, a 16-day required core module and a 10-day elective module. Choose to specialize in the loving art of Yin and Bhakti Yoga, unravel life’s mysteries through a Vision Quest, evolve to become a Certified Life Coach, or travel to Hawaii to learn Recipes for Enlightenment while immersed in a loving yoga community. The program is limited to 22 students ensuring the personal care and attention that Yandara is known for. See the individual pages for the 300-hour modules for more details.

Our 300-hour program is for anyone who has already completed a 200-hour certification program. The 300-hour program will offer you a 500-hour registry through Yoga Alliance (it is therefore commonly referred to as 500-hour training). The 10-day elective modules are also open to anyone who is looking for continuing education and can be attended on their own.

This training includes guidance on how to teach one-on-one private yoga sessions, laying a foundation for our yoga life coach track.

The lead instructors for the program are Nicolina Sandstedt and Shane-Christopher Perkins. Additional guest instructors for the elective modules can be found on the individual pages. Bios for Yandara’s core teaching staff can be found on on the “Teaching Faculty” page.

Institute Details

Yandara Yoga Institute

Yandara Yoga Institute was founded in 2003 by Craig Perkins and his son Shane-Chrisopher Perkins from a desire to share the gift of yoga with others. Yandara Yoga has over a decade of the best yoga education programs and has trained thousands of highly-qualified yoga teachers. Offering over 20 Yoga Teacher Training programs each year, Yandara Yoga Institute is one of the largest and most popular yoga teacher training schools in the world. Yandara Yoga School has some of the highest number of graduates – thousands of Yandara Yoga Teachers are registered with Yoga Alliance. Programs are Yoga Alliance 200-hour and 300-hour certified. Admission is open to all levels, ages and experience. The trainings are All-Inclusive with vegetarian meals and comfortable accommodations provided. The evening satsangs are hosted by our fabulous in-house Kirtan Band: JAYA. One of the first days in class, Craig said to our group, “You are going to be amazed at what great yoga teachers you will be when you leave here.” This comment while met with a bit of speculation from the group, I have to say, he was absolutely correct. It is now July, only four months later and I am teaching more classes than I have time for. I am teaching at five different locations, two studios, two non-profits, and a mixed martial arts gym. In spite of the fact that I still go into each class hoping that I will not let anyone down, I find that I truly have become a great yoga teacher. People are amazed to learn that I am so new to the profession and I hear compliments on my teaching style all the time. Yandara truly has taught me to be a great teacher. I have found my place in life, what I was meant to do, and I am so very grateful. WHERE IS YANDARA… Yandara Yoga School Headquarters is a almost 4-acre nature preserve type property located on the Pacific ocean of Mexico’s Southern Baja Peninsula. Only 15 minutes south of the magical village of Todos Santos and 40 minutes north of Cabo San Lucas. The perfect setting for a world class yoga teacher training – stroll the miles of peaceful beachfront or simply relax and meditate to the ever-present rhythm of the waves. Two miles up the beach is one of the premiere surfing beaches in North America. Yandara is in a rural, very safe and crime free location. Please visit our Travel page for more information.
